A personal site. A corporate site. The video app. The assistant. I start all four inside two days.
For my whole career, building meant picking one thing. One project got my attention, the rest waited in line behind it. That was the shape of the work. You can only do so much.
Now I have agents that can do the building. So I stop waiting in line.
It is exhilarating. I start the agents on the personal site, then turn to the corporate site, then the video app, then the assistant, and all four are moving at the same time. I have never had four real things alive at once. For a couple of days it feels like I have ten hands.
It is also a little chaotic. I open one and have to remember where I left it. What did I ask for here? What was the agents’ last move? Which one was waiting on me, and which one was waiting on nothing because I forgot to come back?
The work itself is not the hard part anymore. The agents handle that. The hard part is me. Four builds means four threads to hold, and I am holding them all in my head.
Halfway through the second day I catch myself. The thing slowing me down is not how fast anything gets built. It is how much I can keep straight at one time. I lose the thread on one build and it just sits there, finished or broken, and I do not notice until I circle back.
That is new. The limit used to be out there, in the work. Now it is in here, in my attention.
Learnings
The moment the agents could build in parallel, my bottleneck stopped being my hands and became my attention. Four builds at once is not four times the typing. It is four threads to track, and tracking them is the whole job now.
What slowed me down was simple: I could not see all four at a glance, so the one I forgot just stalled. That is the pressure that later pushes me toward a single place to watch every build, and toward sessions that keep going when I step away.
